Privacy Policy

1. Overview

RepsHub is designed to be privacy-friendly. We do not require accounts to browse, and we collect as little personal data as possible.

2. IP Address Usage

We temporarily use your IP address only to count product views and prevent the same visitor from inflating view counts. Specifically:

• Your IP is combined with the product ID and the current day, then hashed using SHA-256 before being stored.
• We do not store your raw IP address. The hash cannot be reversed to identify you.
• The hash is used solely to throttle view counts to one per visitor per product per day.

3. Local Storage

We use your browser's local storage to remember your preferences (currency, theme), saved items, and recently viewed products. This data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.

4. Cached Product Data

When you view a product imported via a link, we cache its public information (title, price, image, category) so it appears in browse and search results for other users. No personal information is associated with these cached entries.

5. Third-Party Services

RepsHub fetches product data from third-party marketplaces (1688, Taobao, Weidian) and shopping agents. When you click an external link, you are subject to the privacy policies of those services.

6. Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics that profile you across websites.

7. Your Rights

Since we do not store personal data, there is nothing for us to delete on request. You can clear your saved items and preferences at any time by clearing your browser's local storage.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes.
